Prices and currency

  • Orders delivered in Australia are priced in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST.
  • Orders delivered in New Zealand are priced in New Zealand dollars (NZD). They do not include Australian GST. New Zealand GST, duty and customs or courier clearance fees, where they apply, are set by New Zealand and paid by you.
  • Shipping is added at checkout. You see the full price before you pay.
  • We deliver only to addresses in Australia and New Zealand.

Prices can change, but you pay the price shown when you place your order. If a price or description on our site is clearly wrong, we may cancel the affected items before they ship and refund what you paid for them in full.

Orders and acceptance

When you place an order, you offer to buy the items in it. We accept your offer when we email you an order confirmation.

We may decline or cancel an order before it ships, for example if a disc can no longer be made for that car, a price is clearly wrong, or we suspect fraud. If we do, we refund everything you paid for the cancelled items.

Please check your order confirmation. If something is wrong, email info@pgsicabrakes.com straight away.

Payment

  • Payment is taken in full when you place your order.
  • Payments are processed by Airwallex. You can pay with the cards and digital wallets shown at checkout.
  • Your card details go straight to Airwallex. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Your bank may charge a fee for paying in a foreign currency. That fee is between you and your bank.

If checkout says online payment is not open yet, email info@pgsicabrakes.com to order. We reply with the price and how to pay.

Made to order

PG SICA discs and race rotor rings are made to order for the car, axle or size you choose. Orders usually ship 3 to 5 weeks after payment, then travel to you.

You can cancel your order for a full refund within 24 hours of placing it. After that, your order goes into production and the discs are being made for you, so it can no longer be cancelled for a change of mind.

Lead times are estimates. If your order will ship more than 4 weeks later than the estimate we gave you, we will tell you, and you can cancel it for a full refund.

Delivery

Shipping costs, dispatch and tracking are set out in our Shipping policy.

Please check your delivery address before you pay. The goods are at your risk once they are delivered to that address. They belong to you once we have received full payment.

Shipping Protection

At checkout you can add optional Shipping Protection for your parcel. It is provided by Xcotton, not by us, under Xcotton’s own terms.

Xcotton’s cover includes loss in transit, theft after confirmed delivery, damage in transit, courier misdelivery (excluding errors caused by you), and delay. Delayed delivery compensation is USD 5 per order. Our Shipping Protection guide explains how to claim through Xcotton’s Claims Center or the link in its confirmation email. All claims must be reported within 90 days from the shipment date. Xcotton alone handles the claims process.

Shipping Protection is an extra. It does not replace or reduce your rights under consumer law.

Check the fit before you order

Each product lists the catalogue vehicle, the axle and the disc diameter and thickness. Car makers change brake packages between years, markets and options, so a listing cannot cover every car.

Before you order, measure your current discs and check your brake package, caliper and hub. You are responsible for choosing discs that suit your car.

Not sure? Email info@pgsicabrakes.com with your car, year, brake package and the size of your current discs before you order. If we confirm the fit in writing and the discs do not fit as we said, we take them back at our cost (see Returns and refunds).

Brakes keep you safe. Have them fitted by a qualified mechanic, following the vehicle maker’s procedures, with pads, calipers and fluid in good condition, and bed in new discs before hard use.

Fitting discs of a different size or design to the original is a vehicle modification. In some Australian states and territories, and in New Zealand, it may need certification, and your insurer may need to know.

Track and motorsport use

The two-piece discs listed by car are street discs. The race rotor rings (ADZ, BDZ, CDZ, FDZ and QDZ) are made for track and race use: they are replacement rings for existing hats, chosen by size, drive type, P.C.D., holes or teeth, and you are responsible for checking those measurements and that the rings suit your car, hats, calipers and pads.

Track days and racing put loads on a brake system that we cannot see or control.

If you use them on a track, check that they suit your car, your pads, your event and its technical rules. Our Warranty explains how track use is treated.

Product information

Photos show a typical PG SICA two-piece disc or race ring. The disc for your car has the size and fixings listed for it, and its hat, slot pattern, colours and markings may differ from the photo.

Technical information on this site comes from the factory. Results on your car depend on the car, pads, tyres, cooling and driving.

Your rights and our liability

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. If you live in New Zealand, you also keep your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986 when you buy as a consumer.

Subject to those rights, and as far as the law allows:

  • we are not responsible for loss or damage caused by discs that were chosen for a car they do not suit (unless we confirmed the fit in writing), incorrect fitting, skipped bedding in, worn or faulty parts of your brake system, modification, misuse or accident;
  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, lost use of the car, race results or prize money, except where consumer law gives you a right to compensation for it.

If you buy in New Zealand for the purposes of a business, you agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply to your purchase, and that sections 9, 12A, 13 and 14(1) of the Fair Trading Act 1986 do not apply, as far as the law allows.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays caused by events we cannot reasonably control, such as natural disasters, factory or port closures, customs holds or carrier failures. We will tell you as soon as we can. If the delay is long, you can cancel the affected items for a refund.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and we can bring proceedings in the courts of Queensland, or in any other court that has jurisdiction. This does not take away protections your local consumer law gives you.

If you have a problem, please contact us first. Most issues are sorted out quickly by email.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by publishing a new version on this page. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
