Who we are

This policy covers pgsicabrakes.com and its online store, run by [Business name to be added] (ABN [ABN to be added]).

What we collect

  • Contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
  • Delivery and billing addresses.
  • Your orders: what you bought and when, and any returns or warranty claims, including photos you send us.
  • Enquiries: what you type into our custom and partner forms, and emails you send us.
  • Payments: Airwallex tells us whether your payment went through, with limited details such as the card type. We never receive your full card number.
  • Technical details: like most websites, our servers and Cloudflare record IP addresses, browser types and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

You can browse the site without telling us who you are. To place an order, we need your name, email, phone and delivery address.

Why we use it

  • To take, make, deliver and support your orders, cancellations, returns and warranty claims.
  • To check payments and orders for fraud.
  • To answer your enquiries.
  • To keep the website and store secure and working.
  • To meet our legal duties, such as keeping tax records.

We email you about your orders. We send marketing emails only if you have agreed to receive them, and every one has an unsubscribe link.

Who processes it for us

We share personal information only with the services that help us run the store, and only what each one needs:

  • Airwallex processes card and wallet payments.
  • Xcotton, if you add Shipping Protection, receives your name, email, phone, delivery address, order items and tracking details, to provide the cover and handle claims.
  • Resend sends our order emails and passes on enquiry forms.
  • Cloudflare delivers and protects our website.
  • Amazon Web Services hosts our store server and database in Sydney, Australia.
  • Couriers deliver your parcel, and the PG SICA factory and freight partners in China make and ship your discs.
  • Our accountants and lawyers, and government authorities, receive information where the law requires or allows it.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Cookies and browser storage

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. The store keeps a few small items in your browser’s storage so that it works: your cart number and how many items are in it, the delivery country you chose, and the language you picked.

These items stay in your browser. You can clear them in your browser settings at any time; your cart then resets. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie to tell people from bots, and Airwallex may use cookies on its payment form to prevent fraud.

Information sent overseas

Our store server and database are in Sydney, Australia. Some of the services above store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and China (the factory that makes and ships your discs). We use them only for the purposes in this policy.

How we keep it safe

The website and store use encrypted connections, and access to the store’s admin is limited to the people who need it.

We keep order and tax records for as long as the law requires, generally 5 years in Australia and 7 years in New Zealand, and delete or de-identify information we no longer need.

If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you, and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner, as the law requires.

See or correct your information

Email info@pgsicabrakes.com to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or to correct it. We may need to confirm who you are. We aim to reply within 30 days.

Questions and complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, email info@pgsicabrakes.com. We will look into it and reply within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au, or in New Zealand to the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

Changes to this policy
